It's been awhile ...

Well, we survived puppy-fest 2008 with our furry houseguests. My coworker is lucky I didn't steal the Great Dane. They went home last night and Faith cried that her puppies left. IMHO, Shaun needs to get her a dog--I'm leaning towards a rescue greyhound, he is thinking an electronic one that doesn't shed or bark. Clearly, we are going to have to figure out a compromise.

We had a fun shopping Black Friday and are just about done with our Christmas shopping. F&B are totally spoiled and have piles of fun stuff. We managed to get some good sales so I could get some specific movies/books without them being the only gift.

Thanksgiving dinner was actually on Sunday at Chantel & Dave's for a variety of reasons I'd rather not go into. However, in the end, it was a great idea and we had a great time with them--good friends, good food and the kids had a blast! This might need to be a new tradition.

Faith has been bugging me to learn French, so I have started doing French lessons with her at home. If you're on my Facebook, I have videos posted there. If not, I'll have to get the uploaded somewhere to put them here. She knows some phrases, some songs and quite a few words already. Ben also can sing "Head, Shoulders, Knees & Toes" in French! It is so cute because he wanders around singing "genoux, pieds" over & over again.

We're back in school for a couple of weeks, then off to Canada for Christmas! So looking forward to being home again and F&B cannot wait to go. Now if only I could figure out the logistics of packing.

I found you on Feedjit! Love your blog :) How cute is it that your daughter wants to learn French? I hope when I have kiddos they are eager to learn like that!
