More Adventures in Canada

After the Christmas extravaganza, we took some time to unwind and relax at the house.

Faith & Ben played with all their new toys, then made a gingerbread house.

Well, technically, Faith made most of the house while Ben ate the decorations.

She did a great job! It looks so cute, too cute to eat.

Then on the 27th, we had a surprise 16th birthday party for Lydia. Her birthday isn't until later in January, but since they were home from Nashville, we were home from Dallas and the rest of the family is in Buffalo/Niagara Falls/Canada, my aunt & uncle scheduled it early. We had a big family dinner at one of the restaurants in Niagara Falls and we got her a pretty necklace with her birthstone & diamonds in a circle.

And because we are home, the kids are practicing being Sabres fans. They already cheer "Go Buffalo", no matter what team is playing or what sport. However, it's more fun being Sabres fans in Sabres country

Faith borrowed my mom's new logo pink Sabres hat so she could cheer too
